June Meeting Recap
Hot enough for ye?   (haha, don't ya hate it when people ask that??)

Great meeting last week, the next, equally great meeting will be July 16th, 7pm at Gingers.

Had 6 new people (one of which signed up on the spot) specialties ranging from Director of Photography, writer(s), dancer and costumer/set design.

Filming wrapped on "Leading Ladies", a big thanks goes out to all who helped out, can't wait to see the finished product in 6-8 months!!

Still needing extras for "This Life Ain't Pretty", see the Job Board for more info.

Looming deadlines:  June 30th for the Writing Initiatives Screenwriting Contest.  June 30th is also the EXTENDED deadline (WithOutABox ONLY) for the Rt. 66 Film Festival.

Check out LLCU's "The 21 Film Project", deadline is July 31st.  Submit a 4 min film (see site for full details) for a chance to win prizes or $1500!!  While you're there, check out the 2008 winner, "The Yellow Car" by none other than Dave Heinzel, the brains behind the Springfield Dist 186 High School Film Club!
