    Our meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month at Rt 66 Hotel and Convention Center.

    Meeting starts at 7pm, dinner starts as early as 6pm.

Feb 2010 Meeting Teaser
howdy y'all!!

the next Central Illinois Film Commission meeting is Feb 18th at the Rt 66 Hotel and Convention Center.  the meeting starts at 7pm, but feel free to come as early as 6pm to eat.

membership dues are due.  $25 for regular members and $15 for students.  also, as a fundraiser we have some nice little 2010 dayplanners with the CIFC logo printed on them, $5 each!!  we still have 20 or so.

this weekend, Feb 5th-7th is the 2nd Annual IMC Film Fest, at 202 S. Broadway in Urbana (The old Urbana Post Office).  looks like they have an interesting little lineup...oh, and did I mention it is FREE?!?

the Oscars are right around the corner...which means so is our 2nd Annual Red Carpet Party!!  looking at 2 possible venues.  Capitol City Bar and Grill, which was where we had it last year, or the Rt 66 Hotel.  I love both locations but ultimately it will come down to cost.  currently, Capitol City would require a $10-$15 per person donation and Rt 66 would be $20-$25.  please let me know ASAP if you're interested in attending and please help spread the word!!  we lost money last year...so we gotta kick it up a few notches this year!!

if you have anything you'd like to add to the agenda for the 18th, let me know.  pretty light meeting as of right now.
