Also below I have posted an e-mail I recieved about a contest so I thought I would let you all know. “It’s lights, camera, action, WIN! Land of Lincoln Credit Union is excited to announce a contest for all of those amateur filmmakers out there. Enter a movie into our ‘You Auto to Be in Pictures Movie Contest’ occurring June through July 2008, and you have a chance to win $1,500.00 or other great prizes! The rules aren’t very complicated. Simply, film a 3-minute movie (or less) about anything or in any genre you wish, make sure to mention our name (Land of Lincoln Credit Union) and our tagline (Bank on Learning More) in the movie, and send it in before the July 31st, 2008 deadline. You don’t have to bank at the credit union to participate. A few other rules and restrictions do apply, and an entry form and license agreement must be completed with each entry. You can find everything you need on the attachment, or if you wish, you can visit our homepage at www.llcu.org for more information. Thanks for participating and GOOD LUCK!” Also Cameron Counts is going to begin fundraising for the screenwriting conference so that he can have it next year. There's lots going on ths weekend at Greenville College at the fairgrounds.Two days of great music lots of bands and great entertainment.Ticket information can be found on Myspace & Face Book. and their own website Battle of the bands and featured young artist make up this 2 day event,appx 75 miles from Springfield.Phone number is 1-800-965-9324, Tickets are on i-tickets as well. Start times are 5 Pm Friday and 10 Am on Saturday but check their website for complete times and events for more details.
